As the weather here in Austin starts to cool off, we are excited to start planning outdoor dinners for the fall season with friends and loved ones. We've curated a list from the perfect fall recipes to our favorite tableware items, to dress your table and impress your dinner guests.




RECIPES:


Brunch - FRIED EGG FLATBREAD WITH NDUJA AND MUSTARD FROM BON APPÉTIT


This Fried egg flatbread is the perfect Sunday brunch meal. It's easy to share with multiple guests and the kids will love it!


INGREDIENTS - 4 SERVINGS

  • 1 bunch scallions, trimmed

  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil, divided, plus 6 Tbsp., divided, for eggs

  • 1 lb. prepared pizza dough, room temperature, halved

  • 3 cups baby mustard greens or frisée

  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

  • Kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper

  • 2 oz. nduja or 4 oz. thinly sliced spicy capocollo, divided

  • 4 eggs, divided (recipe for Olive Oil-Basted Fried Eggs below)

  • 2 oz. Pecorino Toscano or other sharp cheese, shaved, divided





Lunch - LEMON-HERB COD WITH CRISPY GARLIC POTATOES BY ONE PAN WONDERS


Enjoy your afternoon lunch with this recipe from One Pan Wonders. A zesty lemon-herb cod, perfectly paired with crispy potatoes and an arugula salad.



INGREDIENTS - 4 SERVINGS

  • 1½ pounds russet potatoes, unpeeled, sliced into ¼-inch thick rounds

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, plus 3 tablespoons cut into ¼-inch pieces

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme, plus 1 teaspoon minced

  • Salt and pepper

  • 4 (6- to 8-ounce) skinless cod fillets, 1- to 1½-inches thick

  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced







Dinner - BUTTERNUT SQUASH GNOCCHI BY KITCHENAID


What better way to enjoy butternut squash this season, than to include it in this tasty KitchenAid gnocchi dish.


INGREDIENTS - 4 SERVINGS

  • 1 medium butternut squash, peeled and cut into 2" pieces (about 2½ cups)

  • 1 large russet potato, peeled and cut into 2" pieces (about 1½ cups)

  • 1½ teaspoons sea salt, divide

  • ½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

  • 1 head garlic, top ¼ trimmed off

  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 large egg yolk, beaten

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided

  • 1½ cups unbleached flour

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • ½ teaspoon crushed dried red chili

  • 6-7 fresh sage leaves, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
